Bomet Governor Dr Joyce Joyce Laboso,Deputy Governor Dr Hillary Barchok in company of several CECs,church leaders and representatives from several children's homes across Bomet county,today officially launched the Governor's Christmas Tree Fund at the Huduma grounds.

The initiative will oversee over 21 children's homes benefit.Donors drawn from the humanitarian organizations and cooperative firms like banks and chamber of commerce have partnered with the county government of Bomet on this great initiative.

The governor started off by giving out her personal donations of two hundred thousand and 1M from the county government.

The governor is scheduled to visit all children's homes as from dates 18,19 and 20th December 2017.
